Some Testing Issues in Medical Cable Design

·                  Wire Size

The size of wire should be checked properly while testing phase as it creates electrical resistance. Grounding issues should also be tested while this session as it has critical importance in the safety of patient. If any of these factors gets disturbed then proved to be harmful for the patient as well as for the doctor or the user.

The above mentioned issues are major which are recognized while testing a medical cable. Manufacturing of medical equipments is not an easy task as after the testing session, there comes the environmental issues check-up which is followed by long steps of sterilization and cleaning of the medical cables. For example, the standard stipules of cable are cleaned 15 times with green soap and bleach.
